This policy explains cancellation, refund eligibility, and billing dispute procedures for our services.

All software, source code, designs, user interfaces, content, branding, documentation, and related materials on this platform are the exclusive intellectual property of ANUSHKA DAHANAYAKE (PVT) LTD, unless expressly stated otherwise.
Protected under the Intellectual Property Act No. 36 of 2003 of Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka, as amended by subsequent legislation including Acts No. 7 of 2018, No. 8 of 2021, and No. 8 of 2022, and other applicable intellectual property laws.
Personal data is processed in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Act No. 9 of 2022 of Sri Lanka and, where applicable, recognised international data protection standards including the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) for visitors from the European Economic Area.
1. General Principle
ANUSHKA DAHANAYAKE (PVT) LTD provides custom digital services. Refund and cancellation terms depend on the specific proposal, statement of work, or invoice agreed before work commences. This policy sets out our standard framework unless otherwise stated in writing.
2. Proposals & Acceptance
A project begins when a client accepts a written proposal or pays a deposit/invoice. By accepting, you agree to the scope, timeline, fees, and payment schedule specified in that document.
3. Client Cancellation
- Clients may cancel before work begins for a full refund of any prepaid amount not yet earned
- After work has commenced, fees for completed milestones or hours are non-refundable
- Cancellation must be submitted in writing to the contact email on your invoice
- Third-party costs already incurred (domains, themes, ads, licenses) are non-refundable
4. Company Cancellation
We may cancel an engagement if the client breaches Terms, fails to pay, or if continuing would violate law. Prepaid amounts for undelivered work will be refunded proportionally unless otherwise stated.
5. Refund Eligibility
- Duplicate payments — refunded in full upon verification
- Service not delivered as agreed — assessed case-by-case per contract
- Technical failure preventing delivery attributable to us — remedied or refunded proportionally
- Subscription services — cancellable before renewal; no refund for current billing period unless required by law
6. Non-Refundable Items
- Completed and delivered work accepted by the client
- Deposits for custom development once discovery/planning has started (unless proposal states otherwise)
- Third-party fees paid on client's behalf
- Digital products or guides marked as non-refundable at purchase
7. Subscriptions & Recurring Billing
Recurring subscriptions may be cancelled before the next renewal date through the client dashboard or by contacting us. Access continues until the end of the paid period. Refunds for partial months are not provided unless required by applicable consumer law.
8. Payment Disputes & Chargebacks
Contact us before initiating a chargeback. We will investigate billing disputes in good faith. Unauthorised chargebacks for legitimately delivered services may result in account suspension and recovery action permitted by law.
9. Processing Time
Approved refunds are processed within 14 business days to the original payment method, subject to payment processor timelines.
10. Consumer Rights
Nothing in this policy limits mandatory consumer protection rights under Sri Lankan law or the laws of your jurisdiction where they apply to you.
